From our Vintage Collection - This is a traditional 32 cm tall oil lamp from Kerala with seven grooves to light the wicks dipped in oil, mounted on an elegant pillar with smooth contours finished with a rich dark brown natural patina, handcrafted by artisans from the South of India.
Such oil lamps or Vilakkus as they traditionally known, are handed over from one generation to the next signifying as per the Hindu tradition, the moving from darkness of life into the light bringing joy and prosperity to all.
Measures: Height 32 cm with a base diameter of 12 cm at the top and the bottom of the lamp.
