This wall hanging measuring 3 feet in length is beautifully engraved with peacocks on either side of the Hindu Deities and a floral design, hand carved by master craftsmen from Tamil Nadu, South India from a single block of local Raintree wood in a charcoal finish.
Lord Ganesha is widely revered as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the Deva of intellect and wisdom. As the god of beginnings, he is honoured at the start of rituals and ceremonies.
Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of wealth, fortune and prosperity and is the wife and Shakti (energy) of Vishnu, one of the principal deities of Hinduism and the Supreme Being in the Vaishnavism Tradition.
