An exquisite Indigo blue and burgundy with white geometrical motifs pure cotton reversible Kantha stitch bedspread handcrafted by artisans from Gujarat showcasing their fine craftsmanship with traditional patterns all across the bedspread and the border.
The bedspread is made even more elegant with the use of Ajrakh block prints using only vegetable and plant dyes to create the most beautiful patterns in vibrant yet earthy colours of Indigo blue, burgundy and white predominantly with a deep indigo coloured fabric on the reverse with a white kantha stitch.
The dyeing process is said to undergo 23 stages taking upto a full month to complete the process clubbed with its unique fusion of 3 varied art works: Kantha, Ajrakh block printing and patchwork where finally the the different patterns of the fabric are painstakingly patched and stitched together by tribal women.
Ajrak , a name derived from Azarak which means "Blue" in Arabic and Persian, is hand block printed fabric distinguished by its intricate geometric, floral and paisley patterns dyed with eco friendly vegetable and plant dyes.

Washing Instructions : Dry Clean or Cold Wash . Use a low heat steam iron for ironing if required. The colour may bleed slightly in the first few washes.
