Majestic wooden sculpture of Lakshmi - Indian goddess of wealth and prosperity, sculpted from soft and delicate Mango wood found in most States of south India with a natural dark wood finish.
The sculpture is carved as the dancing Lakshmi on a pedestal from a single block of wood in fine detail by artisans from Tamil Nadu , South of India where the art of handcrafting and carving idols in wood is legendary and still being practised since centuries as per tradition.
Lakshmi is one of the best-known and most worshipped deities in the Hindu pantheon found throughout India, Srilanka, Thailand and Nepal and widely revered as the Goddess of wealth and prosperity considered as being highly auspicious especially during Diwali - The festival of lights.
