Tie & Dye | Bandhini Indigo Blue & White Print Cotton Silk Stole

This is the lovely Tie & Dye Style or " Bandhini"as it is popularly known Indigo blue and white cotton silk stole with gold border and tassels, hand crafted by the artisans from a small village on the outskirts of Jaipur, Rajasthan.

As a tradition, tie & dye art of this rich heritage state of India uses only natural vegetable and mineral dyes following age old traditions and style.

Tie and dye is as the name suggests, first tying the fabric, usually cotton or silk, with thread at certain points and then submerging it into colourful dyes to create a range of patterns. This practice ensures that no two tie-dyed cloths are the same, making each product truly one of a kind.
