This exquisite handwoven and hand embroidered shawl in a vibrant rust orange and black with small mirrors inter spread all across the shawl and is crafted from 100% pure wool by tribal women in Kutch, India.
The shawl is woven with Indian motifs and design using the Tie & Dye process of dyeing and colouring following age old traditions known as " Bandhani" which means to tie.
After being woven on a hand loom and printed using vegetable dyes and natural colours, the shawl / stole is then embroidered with delicate mirror work by tribal Rabari or nomadic women using a traditional stitch involving mirror and threads.
