The process of lost wax casting is a centuries old tradition of crafting using a technique called "cire perdue" for metal casting where the outer surface of the core wax model is covered with multiple strands of wax wire and used with minor variations all over the eastern Indian tribal complex comprising areas in mainly Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand ( States of India) .
Handcrafted by the finest tribal artisans , this is a beautiful example of Indian craftsmanship to gift to a loved one or to own.
