Made from excellent quality brass using the Lost wax tradition of metal casting , this vintage oil lamp with 7 exquisitely crafted grooves to light the wicks dipped in oil is mounted on an elegant hand crafted tall slim brass pillar with smooth contours and curves by the artisans bringing an epitome of grace and beauty.
Handed over from one generation to the next, such lamps or Deepam or Vilakkus signify, as per the Hindu tradition, the moving from darkness of life into light bringing joy and prosperity to all when lit.
