Majestic wooden sculpture of the full form of Lord Ganesha chiselled and carved from the soft and delicate Mango wood found in most States of south and north India.

Hand finished with a natural wood finish and oils, this wooden Ganesha is carved from a single block of mango wood in fine detail by artisans from Tamil Nadu , South of India where the craft of carving idols in wood is legendary and the craft being practised for centuries.  

Ganesha, also known as Ganapati and Vinayaka, is one of the best-known and most worshipped deities in the Hindu pantheon found throughout India, Srilanka, Thailand and Nepal and widely revered as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the Deva of intellect and wisdom.
As the god of beginnings, he is considered highly auspicious and honoured at the start of rituals and ceremonies.
