This exquisite Mustard coloured handwoven and hand embroidered shawl is crafted from 100% wool in Bhujodi Village in Kutch, India.
The shawl is hand woven with lovely hue of the mustard flower displaying the traditional Indian motifs printed with the Tie & Dye method using natural vegetable dyes and colours following age old traditions of this region. This tie and dye process is also known in India as " Bandhani".
After being woven on a hand loom and printed by the tie dye method, the shawl / stole is then embroidered with delicate mirror work by tribal Rabari or nomadic women using a traditional stitch involving mirror and threads.
