Crafted by artisans from Madhya Pradesh, India, this exclusive heart shaped vintage 6 compartment Kum Kum box, is hand casted in solid brass with a beautiful floral design on the cover.
Such ornate boxes were used for storing colourful herbal powders such as makeup & vermilion referring to the red pigment used by married Indian women and to store "Bindis" - large colourful dots of cloth for their forehead.
A great conversation starter, indeed!
