Vintage Hexagonal shaped brass planter with a beautiful mesh / Jaali work on each wall hand crafted with 10 peacocks on the sides.
The planter depicting the paws of a lion for each of its 6 legs is held together by 3 thick link chains, a woman in a traditional costume and a peacock and another peacock shaped as the hook.
As per tradition, such planters were used to light coal or wood and used as a Sigri in the mid century, now used indoor or outdoors as a planter.
Handcrafted by artisans from the south of India in a light beije patina finish, this is a Collectors item.
