Handcrafted by artisans from South of India, this vintage cookie cutter or dough scrimper made from solid brass were once as per Indian tradition used mostly during the colourful festival of Holi for making Gujias ( Indian pastry dough filled with a variety of Indian sweets, then folded and fried in oil over a slow fire till golden brown).
This exclusive piece is crafted with a intricately carved dragon breathing fire, the wheel / rotating cutter on one end and the hammer with a chequered finish on the other.
A great conversation starter, this unique item is made from solid brass and can be used to design the edges of the Indian sweets as per tradition, on a cookie dough or just as a decorative.
