Handcrafted by artisans from South of India, this vintage cookie or Gujia mould with cutter made from brass were once as per Indian tradition used mostly during the colourful festival of Holi for making Gujias ( Indian pastry dough filled with a variety of Indian sweets, then folded and fried in oil over a slow fire till golden brown).
A great conversation starter, these unique rectangular moulds with a semi circular hollow with cerrated edges to keep the dough in place when pressed can be still used to create the perfect shape of the semi circular Gujias for any festive occasion or just as a decorative.
