This exquisite coal brass iron is a replica of years gone by, though you will still find the friendly "Press wala " in your colony or neighbourhood ironing clothes with his steam iron or a coal one made of iron.
This one has a cockerel on the front which acts as a catch allowing the top to come up. Inside one would put hot coals, heating the iron allowing you to iron your clothes.
Still usable if you want to give it a try though be careful of the coal which flies around and also can be used as a decorative in a rustic way.
Size: 18 cm in length x 8 cm wide and stands 15 cm high.
Care: Please do not use any chemicals or bleach for cleaning.
