This vintage Kavadi wooden wall panel with the three most revered hindu deities Lakshmi, Ganesha and Saraswati is handcrafted from a single block of wood by skilled artisans from South India following century old traditions of carving religious idols with fine detailing from local wood.

Lord Ganesha is widely revered as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the Deva of intellect and wisdom. As the god of beginnings, he is honoured at the start of rituals and ceremonies.

Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess of wealth, fortune and prosperity and is the wife and Shakti (energy) of Vishnu, one of the principal deities of Hinduism and the Supreme Being in the Vaishnavism Tradition.

Saraswati is the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, arts, wisdom, and learning worshipped throughout Nepal and India. She is a part of the trinity (Tridevi) of Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati.

Kavadi - A wall hanging inspired and shaped like an entrance of a South Indian temple known as Gopurams are known for their rich artistry and are often found with natural colouring using vegetable dyes and colours from plants.
