Magnificent 36 cm Tall brass sculpture of Hindu God Krishna playing the flute wearing his Mukut ( crown ) standing on a pedestal with the sacred cow behind him.
This beautiful statue of Lord Krishna with intricate engraving on the robes, the crown and the flute is finished in dark patina and hand crafted by artisans from the South of India using centuriy old traditional method of metal casting and engraving.

The great exponent of the Bhagavad Gita, Krishna is the god of compassion, tenderness, and love in Hinduism and is one of the most popular and widely revered among Indian divinities.
Dark and extremely handsome, the word Krishna literally means 'black', and black also connotes mysteriousness and a favourite with all the village girls called "Gopis.

The sacred cow depicts his love of the cows when he was a cowherd and is synonymous with krishna also known as Gopala.

The anecdotes and narratives of Krishna's life are generally titled as Krishna Leela. He is a central character in the Indian Epics Mahabharata, Bhagvata Purana and the Bhagavad Gita and is also potrayed in various perspectives: A god-child, a prankster, a model lover, a divine hero, and as the supreme power.
