Exquisite brass temple frame or Prabhavali inspired by the temples of South India handcrafted with twin Mythical Yalis, intricately engraved temple pillars and the idol the Hindu Diety Meenakshi holding an oil lamp.

Worshipped predominantly by people from the South of India, she is one of the few Hindu female deities to have a major temple devoted to her - the far famed Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Yali, also known as Vyala or Vidala is a mythical creature seen in most Hindu temples, often sculpted onto the pillars and portrayed as part lion, part elephant and part horse and similar shapes notably by Nayak rulers and  became prominent in the 16th century.

This beautiful sculpture in brass has been mounted on a rich gold raw silk and framed inside a synthetic walnut brown frame.
