This exquisite oil and wick brass lamp having 3 spouts and 6 beautifully crafted peacocks ( 3 above and 3 below the lamp) with intricate engraving is handcrafted by skilled artisans from the South of India and hangs on a brass chain with links.
The peacock as per Hindu tradition signifies beauty and grace and brings joy in the home when lit, hence normally seen hanging at the entrance of most homes and also as a sign of welcome to all guests.
The lighting of the peacock diya / lamp is also significant during festivals and during all puja / prayer ceremonies bringing in light, prosperity and happiness to the whole family.
