Magnificent Framed Brass Temple Prabhavali With Worshippers & Lord Ganesha On Red Raw Silk. Ht 45 cm x W 35 cm

Exquisite brass temple frame or Prabhavali - Halo of the Gods inspired by the temples of South India handcrafted with the mythical Yali and twin Markaras with worshippers on either side of the intricately engraved temple pillars and the idol of the Hindu diety Ganesha - God of wisdom and prosperity.

Makaras seen above the pillars are the vahana (vehicle) of the river goddess Ganga, Narmada and of the sea god Varuna and are considered as guardians of gateways and thresholds, protecting throne rooms as well as entryways to temples. 

This beautiful prabhavali has been mounted on a rich deep red raw silk and framed inside a antique finish frame.

Use this art deco as a wall hanging to adorn any space in your home.

Size of the framed prabhavali : Height 45 cm x Width 35 cm
Size of the brass Prabhavali: Height 28 cm and Wide 20 cm.

The Ganesh idol measures 5 cm x 4 cm and maybe replaced with another design subject to availibility.
