Exquisite pair of hand carved wooden panels depicting the eight manifestations of Hindu Deity Lakshmi - The Indian goddess worshipped for wealth and prosperity.
Handcrafted from a single block of rain tree wood by artisans from Tamil Nadu, South India, Ashtalakshmi refers to the eight manifestations of Lakshmi devi where each goddess has an individual nature and is worshipped to fulfil one’s desires and needs.
The eight forms of Lakshmi are as follows:
Adi Lakshmi for good health and prosperity
Dhana Lakshmi for wealth
Dhanya Lakshmi for agricultural wealth
Gaja Lakshmi for good luck
Santana Lakshmi for progeny or children,
Veera Lakshmi for courage
Vijaya Lakshmi for victory and success
Vidya Lakshmi for knowledge and wisdom.
Each of these handcrafted panels brings out the feeling of divinity displaying the accurate representation of the eight forms of the Goddess.

Note: Due to the moisture in the wood, you may find a bit of mould on receipt of the item which is very natural as once packed, there is no ventilation . Please allow the panels to dry incase of any mildew observed and use a semi hard brush to clean the area. You can also lightly apply mustard or coconut oil once the panels are clean.
