Vintage Brass Temple of Lord Shiva With 4 Nandi Bulls. Length 90 cm x Width 8 cm square

Hanging on a brass link chain, this vintage brass temple is inspired by the temple architecture from the South of India, handcrafted with 4 exquisite brass Nandi bulls facing outwards from each corner guarding the monument and 5 temple bells.

Lord Shiva is The Supreme God who protects, creates and transforms the universe and as per Indian Mythology. Shiva is one of the most important gods renowned as the destroyer of evil and whose powers are used to cleanse the world of negativity. 

The " Nandi" means to flourish and is the name of the guardian deity of Kailasa, the abode of Lord Shiva and usually depicted as a bull which also serves as the mount to the god Shiva. According to tradition, he is considered as the chief Guru of eight disciples of Shiva who were sent to eight directions to spread the wisdom of Shaivism.
