From our Vintage Collection - Traditional 55 cm tall brass oil lamp from Kerala with a large bowl to light the wicks dipped in oil, mounted on an elegant ribbed pillar and smooth contours, handcrafted by artisans from the South of India.
Such heritage oil lamps or Nilavilakkus are considered auspicious, integral to all the rituals, ceremonies, traditions and part of a lifestyle in Kerala.
Handed over from one generation to the next, signifying as per the Hindu tradition, the moving from darkness of life into the light bringing joy and prosperity to all.
