Majestic pair of door handles depicting the Mythical Yali, handcrafted by artisans from the South of India in the shape of a dagger with a curved blade. 

The Yali has bulging eyes separated by a high crest to the forehead, leading to the back of the head and around the neck, open gaping mouth with a curling tongue and sharp tiger like teeth.

The Yali, seen sculpted on temple pillars in the South of India particularly is portrayed as part lion, part elephant and part horse, and in similar shapes including some bird-like features and are believed to be more powerful than the lion, theTiger or the elephant.

With beautifully engraved hilted handle and engraving, these magnificent door pulls can be screwed and installed onto any door with the help of 4 screws on the round base under the handle.
