This majestic vintage peacock is an exquisite brass prayer lamp used in most Indian households at the time of daily prayer and is a ritual for all festivals and religious celebrations.
The hand held lamp is handcrafted by Indian artisans in solid brass and has the cup for the oil and wick , the compartment ( when you lift the peacock head ) for the "Dhoop" or Incense and the span of the peacocks feather which has 7 small holes on top of the feather to insert the incense sticks.
Easy to use with a handheld brass handle attached to the peacock, this piece is a "Must Have" in each household or if desired may be used as a decorative piece.
