The Kamandalu, or Kamandalam, is a revered oblong water pot from the Indian subcontinent, traditionally made from natural or crafted materials like dried gourds, coconut shells, metal, or clay symbolising simplicity and a self-contained life, often carried by Hindu ascetics and yogis for storing the holy water from the Ganges - The sacred Indian river which flows from the Gangotri Glacier in the Himalayas

In Hindu tradition, the water in a Kamandalu represents Amrita—the elixir of life—making it a symbol of fertility, life, and wealth. Often depicted in the hands of deities like Shiva, Brahma, and Varuna, the Kamandalu holds immense cultural and spiritual significance.

This handcrafted Kamandalu is perfect for ritual use, as a decorative item, or as a thoughtful gift for those who appreciate Indian heritage and craftsmanship.
