Handcrafted by skilled artisans, the goddess can be seen adorned in her fine jewellery and clothing, sitting on a lotus flower, playing the Veena.

Saraswati is a part of the trinity  (Tridevi) of Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati and as per hindu mythology, all the three forms help the trinity of Gods Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva to create, maintain and regenerate-recycle the Universe respectively.

Goddess Saraswati remained significant as a goddess from the Vedic period through modern times of Hindu traditions and is celebrated in the form of the Indian festival of Vasant Panchami - The 5th day of spring, also known as Saraswati Puja and Saraswati Jayanti in so many parts of India.
